- In ancient Rome a slave who tried to escape was punished with death. But we, in our website, have abolished this uncivilized custom.
We have condemned these two Dalmatian slaves, to be whipped
in public, with the heavy whip, but... without the lead spheres.
We certainly don't want to permanently damage those stupendous buttocks.

In the first three we can see the subjugation of the new Ancillae (Handmaids) by the older ones.
Since only the Domine, (master ) and the Matrona, (Mistress)
could decree the punishment of the slaves,
the Ancillae had contrived the methods that I have illustrated,
with the intent to subdue the more rebellious ones, without leaving too evident marks..

He always did it very harshly.
